Baugher’s Bakery began in the early 1930’s when Romaine Baugher began baking pies with fruit from our orchard in the 1930’s to help pay farm bills. She worked out of a small area in her home basement. Since the beginning, Baugher’s Bakery has strived to bake the freshest baked goods for fair prices.
In 1981, Baugher’s Orchard Bakery was built fulfilling a life-long dream for Romaine Baugher. Fresh fruit pies, cream pies, dinner rolls, sweet breads, & old-fashioned apple dumplings are the main products that the Baugher’s Bakery is known for. Apple pie, French Apple, Pumpkin pie, Cherry, Peach & Blueberry are some of the favorites customers love.

Baugher’s Bakery also makes our homemade fudge, available it in both of our markets.
Dinner rolls are served with every platter in our restaurant & a full line of 20+ pie varieties are on the menu of Baugher’s Restaurant. Homemade applesauce is served at our restaurant, also made by the bakery.
The bakery employs 5 to 6 people year round and 8 to 10 people during the peak months of August thru December. The bakery is located at our orchard complex (retail market, wholesale area, cold storages, & packing house).
Bakery products are sold at both Baugher’s Orchard Market, Baugher’s Fruit Market and is served in Baugher’s Restaurant.
