Baugher’s Petting Zoo started collecting & exhibiting animals around 1987. The animals are generally farm livestock, such as lambs, goats, donkey, chickens, rabbits, pigs, turkeys and guinea hens. We also have some more exotic animals featured, such as alpacas, llamas and peacocks.

You can walk right in the pasture with the friendly and gentle animals, getting up close as possible!  Some animals, with more aggressive behavior, are behind a fence, where you can reach in to pet them. There are educational signs about the animals displayed.

Dusty and Buttercup at Baugher's Petting ZooDaisy, the Donkey, was born at the Baugher Petting Zoo.

There are coin machines with zoo food at the zoo, as well as bags of food to purchase in our market.

Also at the zoo, is a hand sink, with a soap dispenser to keep germs away from visitors.

Two playground sets and a gazebo make the petting zoo an enjoyable place to spend some time. The zoo is within walking distance, right over the hill from our orchard market.
